Key Responsibilities- Lead the negotiation and drafting of contracts with large/select plan sponsors, ensuring that Fidelity's interests are protected while delivering a best-in-class experience for clients.
- Manage a team of professionals who negotiate diverse types of service and transactional documents, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with internal business partners, including Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Finance, Product Management, Compliance, and Corporate Legal, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and business risks, providing proactive outreach and education to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Fidelity's ability to formalize client relationships, driving business growth and protecting the company's interests.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in contract negotiation and management, with a strong background in law and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and build consensus among competing interests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
