Currently, we are seeking a Marketing Brand Strategist to lead one of our cherished brands, Lone Star, The National Beer of Texas. This role requires a deep understanding of Texas's evolving identity, balancing tradition with modernity. A creative thinker with a proven track record in identifying opportunities, formulating marketing strategies, and executing plans that enhance performance is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing) for each brand to identify growth opportunities and enhance market performance.
  • Lead the Annual Strategic Planning process for each brand, creating a 3-year Strategic Priority Plan alongside a 1-year Execution plan and associated marketing budget.
  • Manage the brand's Social Media presence, developing strategies for reach, engagement, content creation, and targeted consumer outreach.
  • Act as the brand's spokesperson, overseeing all internal and external communications; consistently evaluate and refine brand strategies, programming, identity, and execution.
  • Build strong relationships with Wholesaler and Retailer partners to ensure prominent brand visibility across the distribution network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing platforms and initiatives that drive year-over-year growth.
  • Provide insights on market trends and performance to inform sales strategies during annual planning and monthly forecasting.
  • Manage brand partnerships, cultivating relationships with advocates, brands, and influencers, while seeking new opportunities to maintain Lone Star's relevance in contemporary Texas culture.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the target consumer audience and the evolving landscape they navigate.
  • Take responsibility for P&L and budget management, ensuring comprehensive oversight of brand performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in brand management; experience in the beverage industry is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for creating culturally significant brands, ensuring their relevance in modern Texas culture.
  • A self-starter who operates with minimal supervision and is a collaborative team player.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills, capable of effectively handling multiple projects.
  • Experience in P&L and budget management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience utilizing syndicated sales data (Nielsen/IRI).
