What You Will Do:
The HVAC Service Sales Representative plays a vital role in the growth and profitability of the HVAC Service division. The selected candidate will be responsible for initiating, establishing, and nurturing profitable service relationships with new clients.

Focus on promoting renewable maintenance agreements as the foundational element for building these relationships.

The representative will operate within a designated geographic area, collaborating with a local branch office and partnering with sales and operations professionals.

Utilize sales tools to strategize and document sales progress while enhancing business opportunities within existing accounts. Expected to secure and finalize business on a monthly basis.

How You Will Do It:
Adhere to a structured and professional approach to identify, target, and qualify potential new clients; leverage market conditions and network effectively to discover new leads and contacts.

Reach out to prospective clients and arrange meetings. Build a referral network to identify new business opportunities.

Conduct sales calls aimed at uncovering key sources of challenges and/or dissatisfaction faced by Facility Directors in managing heating/cooling, ventilation, and control system equipment.

Instill a sense of urgency to address needs and position Johnson Controls as the preferred supplier.

Propose solutions to meet prospective clients' needs through innovative application of local branch service capabilities, emphasizing renewable maintenance agreements alongside digital service offerings, sustainability, and decarbonization.

Understand the client's business and communicate effectively.
Review and finalize proposals with prospects, securing their commitment to the Johnson Controls solution.

Facilitate customer kick-off meetings, resolve client issues, create pull-through opportunities, maintain service agreements, extend service agreements, and support the collections process.

Keep management updated on progress and account status using Johnson Controls tools and other means. Recognize when to seek assistance from management to keep the sales process on track.
Develop and implement territory marketing strategies aligned with the Johnson Controls Building Solutions business objectives. Attend and present at trade shows. Engage in professional organizations.
Represent Johnson Controls with professionalism by conducting business according to the highest standards of quality, integrity, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of progressive sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail
• Exceptional presentation skills, capable of engaging both individuals and groups
• Experience in selling services and intangibles
• Familiarity with sales methodologies, standards, and disciplines.
Bonus Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Building HVAC Systems
• Relevant experience in the field
• Post-secondary education

Salary Range:
HIRING SALARY RANGE:
$ Salary to be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
