Position Overview:

This role involves intricate tasks related to the management, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial-grade heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including multi-zone setups that utilize pneumatic, electronic, and programmable logic controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute operations, maintenance, installation, and repairs of HVAC systems and their components, including heat recovery systems, cooling coils, and air handlers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and services on HVAC and related equipment according to a set schedule, providing recommendations for upgrades or modifications.
- Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of new HVAC systems and modifications to existing setups.
- Respond promptly to routine and emergency service calls, ensuring immediate diagnosis and resolution of plant issues.
- Provide training and mentorship to colleagues regarding HVAC operations and repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of machinery and electrical spaces, promoting workplace safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems with pneumatic and digital controls, as well as computer-based Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, with the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC components effectively.
- Capable of preparing engineering documents and specifications for projects.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and effective communication with team members.

Certification Requirements:
- Relevant trade licenses and certifications are highly regarded. Certification in confined space entry or the ability to qualify within six months is necessary.

Education and Experience:
- Vocational/Technical Degree required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required; 6 years preferred.

Compensation:
- Competitive pay rate based on experience.
