Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations and ensure the successful completion of property maintenance and work order projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Operations Coordinator and manage a team of field technicians and carpenters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee all phases of property maintenance and handyman projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Safety Management: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on all job sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure performance standards are met.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Employee Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Oversee the purchase and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring that team members have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Injury Reporting and Safety Calls: Monitor and report any workplace injuries, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Sales and Outreach: Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other marketing and sales activities to promote RW Anderson Services' services.
  • Customer Communication: Develop and implement systems to communicate with customers effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, construction, or property maintenance, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in project management software and tools.
    • Strong understanding of maintenance methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, PMP, OSHA) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
