Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to drive sales growth in Tennessee, focusing on government and federal contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with our outcome-driven sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy focused on securing and expanding contracts with federal and state government entities.
- Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and stakeholders in government and federal organizations.
- Government Contracting Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of federal and state contracting procedures, including RFP/RFQ processes, compliance, and negotiation tactics, to close deals effectively.
- Pipeline Development: Identify and qualify new opportunities within the government vertical, build a strong sales pipeline, and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Strategic Account Management: Manage existing government and federal accounts, ensuring client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services and products.
- Outcome-Driven Approach: Focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs with an emphasis on measurable outcomes and long-term contract success.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of sales experience, with a major focus on government and federal contracts in the U.S.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and securing government contracts, with deep knowledge of the public procurement cycle.
- Quick Thinker & Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet, navigate complex contracts, and overcome objections with creative solutions.
- Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building trust-based relationships with government stakeholders and internal teams.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficient in contract negotiation and closing deals, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.
- Self-Motivated & Outcome-Driven: Passion for driving results with minimal supervision, taking ownership of the sales process from lead generation to contract closure.
