Job Summary:

As a Clinical Medical Support Specialist with All Medical Personnel, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive public image for our practice by providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of courtesy and respect when interacting with patients
  • Assist physicians with basic office medical functions to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Perform patient and family education, counseling, and teaching
  • Bring patients into exam rooms, obtain brief histories of complaints, prepare patients for exams, and take vital signs
  • Perform clerical work, including referrals, scheduling appointments, filling out forms, and answering phones
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures as needed
  • Stock rooms, maintain instruments, and autoclave equipment
  • Assist in the orientation of personnel, with a focus on nursing aspects
  • Perform phlebotomy and vaccine administration
  • Attend staff meetings and in-services
  • Assume charge position as required in the absence of supervisory personnel

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MA certification
  • BLS (AHA) certification
