Patient Service Coordinator

Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Facilitate the registration process, ensuring accurate and complete patient information is collected and recorded.
* Manage patient flow, ensuring efficient use of provider time and minimizing wait times.
* Collect and post patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Support practice revenue goals by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process changes as needed.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical office assisting curriculum preferred.
* Prior customer service/business office experience, preferably in a medical facility.
* EHR experience helpful.
