Qualifications:- Education: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, and you have not been licensed in another state during that period, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required. Previous supervisory experience in nursing is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the relevant state is required.
- Essential Skills: Proficiency in conflict resolution, change management, and effective verbal and written communication that respects the diversity of age groups, cultures, and educational backgrounds is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, effective oral and electronic communication abilities, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary. Capability to operate a personal computer and VHF radio is required.
