About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver dialysis care to patients in a hospital setting, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines, working collaboratively with PCTs to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging your expertise in nephrology and renal therapies to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care, providing clear communication and documentation to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in dialysis care.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Dialysis experience is required, with a strong background in nephrology and renal therapies.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is highly desirable.
