About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dialysis care team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI). As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide top-notch nursing care to patients with chronic kidney disease, working closely with our experienced RNs and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, treatment initiation, and monitoring
  • Assess and monitor patient access, intervening as necessary to ensure optimal care
  • Follow infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administer and educate patients on medications, within the scope of practice
  • Attend required training and staff meetings to maintain and expand skills
Requirements
  • Accredited practical nursing program completion
  • Dialysis experience preferred, but not required
  • Current GA LPN license
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Current state IV therapy training requirements, if applicable
