Graduate Enrollment Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Admission Operations Specialist to join our team at Agnes Scott College. This role will play a critical part in supporting the College's graduate enrollment goals through the effective use of Slate and other enrollment systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the technology-related aspects of the graduate admissions unit, including planning, maintenance, and implementation of technology solutions within Slate, Colleague, and related CAS systems.
- Develop and implement workflows, forms, reports, queries, events, etc. within Slate, and support system implementation for communication campaigns and manage Slate populations.
- Maintain accurate information for and about graduate students in college systems (Slate, Colleague, CAS, etc.) in compliance with FERPA and other college policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity within the enrollment systems by regularly auditing and cleaning data.
- Generate reports using Slate, Informer, Colleague, and other systems to support decision-making processes for graduate enrollment management, creating and maintaining dashboards and visualizations that support decision-making and planning.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Manager to support campus-wide system and business process integration efforts among Admission Operations, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and the Registrar in support of cohesive and streamlined workflow and communication.
- Maintain documentation of systems policies, procedures, and standards, troubleshooting system issues and evaluating options for longer-term system adaptations or changes.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in higher education using Slate and student information systems, such as Colleague or Banner, and experience using Excel.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced).
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and good judgment, work independently, and prioritize work assignments.
- Possess strong initiative and the ability to create plans and processes without an existing roadmap.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and with many diverse constituencies in a college environment.
- Possess critical thinking, planning, and project management skills.
- Possess proven proofreading skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases and concepts, data modeling, data visualization and reporting tools.
- Strong working knowledge of standard admission and student information system software.
- Possess strong judgment and discretion in dealing with issues pertaining to confidentiality.
- Willingness to commit to and advance the mission, vision, and short and long-term goals of Agnes Scott College.
- Irregular and overtime hours are required for special projects and events.
