Accounting and Administration Opportunity

Day 1 Auto Group, a reputable dealership in Salem, Oregon, is looking for an Accounting and Administration Professional to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers a range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Salary: $52,000 - $72,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Transaction Recording: Accurately input business transactions into subsidiary accounts in appropriate ledgers.
  2. Monthly Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly factory statements and balance accounts daily to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Departmental Communication: Collaborate with department managers to resolve outstanding receivables and communicate effectively.
  4. Accounts Receivable Management: Process incoming cancellations, manage records, and ensure timely payments.
  5. Bank Contract Processing: Verify information and numbers accurately when posting daily bank contracts and car deals into accounting.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience and Education: Three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Dealership Background: While preferred, not necessarily required; we prioritize skills and qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and other paperless software and document storage systems.
