Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team at Biogensys. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for analyzing, verifying, and reconciling accounts payable records, as well as performing related duties as required or assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and participate in the accounts payable operational activities using automated financial and procurement systems.
  • Analyze and maintain automated data, implementing policies and procedures that ensure the security and integrity of automated data.
  • Coordinate with various departments and maintain records for account payables.
  • Review final documents in vendor close out packages for accuracy and payment to vendor.
  • Participate in analysis of accounts payable activities and provide technical advice, as needed.
  • Ensure that all PHA and HUD guidelines have been followed in the payment of invoices to vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues and PHA information.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Interpreting and applying state and Federal accounting rules and regulations, and PHA policies.
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial records and reports.
  • Interacting with people of different social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Operating a personal computer utilizing standard and specialized software.
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; AND one (1) or more years of experience in financial management or analysis, including government housing programs; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Work Hours
  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • 35 hrs/ week
