Type: Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator with significant experience in managing accounts payable processes and knowledge of federal housing regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, either through a BA degree in Accounting or a minimum of one year of financial management experience.
Confidentiality and accuracy are key in this role as you will be handling sensitive financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process a high volume of accounts payable invoices and payments.
- Ensure compliance with federal housing regulations in all accounts payable functions.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and invoices, ensuring timely processing.
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data and transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- BA degree in Accounting or a minimum of 1 year of financial management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes with the ability to manage heavy AP workloads.
- Familiarity with federal housing regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience in the housing or real estate sector.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
