Inventory Specialist

VGM Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Associate to join our team. As an Inventory Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and supporting the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and manage inventory adjustments, including returns to stock and vendor communication.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Update item classification and maintain accurate product information.
- Run transaction reports to track down missing inventory and manage replenishment templates.
- Audit a percentage of bulk orders and locate missing product or license plates.
- Send weekly adjustment reports to Sunset and Fisher and Paykel.
- Update the inventory adjustment log weekly and send an updated tracing report to Res Med.
- Track and record inventory variance data to ensure it remains within acceptable contractual levels.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous leadership and/or training experience.
- High school education.
- Standing and walking throughout the facility.
- Operation of warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- Strict adherence to all safety standards.
