This role is responsible for the safe and productive operation of various equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, water trucks, track hoes, excavators, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Maintain the mechanical functions of equipment as needed
  • Ensure the neat appearance of equipment
  • Assist or act as a backup to other roles within the quarry
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Attend safety and operations meetings and trainings as directed
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and Corporate policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred
  • Ability to respond quickly to hazards and safety concerns
  • Ability to work outside daily/year-round, as needed
  • Ability to perform responsibilities and objectives successfully and safely
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write the English language
