Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient and experienced MRI Imaging Specialist to become a vital part of our imaging department. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in conducting magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, prioritizing patient safety, and generating superior diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct MRI examinations in accordance with physician directives and departmental guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and the best possible imaging outcomes.
  • Utilize MRI machinery to create high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Observe patients throughout procedures to guarantee their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain precise patient records and documentation of all performed procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including those related to MRI, radiation, and infection control.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on MRI equipment as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related discipline.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI is mandatory.
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Preferred minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Imaging Specialist.
  • Strong understanding of MRI procedures and imaging methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
