Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Allied Stone Inc. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw stone slabs into customized, polished countertops.
Key Responsibilities- Measuring and Templating: Accurately measure and create templates for stone countertops based on client specifications.
- Cutting and Shaping: Operate saws, grinders, and other machinery to cut and shape stone slabs to the desired dimensions and designs.
- Polishing and Finishing: Polish and finish stone surfaces to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed countertops to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Material Handling: Safely handle and transport heavy stone slabs using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and perform routine checks on tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or imperfections that arise during the fabrication process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as designers and installers, to ensure seamless workflow and project completion.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of measurements, material usage, and job progress for each project.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Entry-level position willing to train the right candidate. Preferred experience in stone fabrication.
