Willingness to travel is a must within the Massachusetts South Coast Area.

(Travel between multiple locations is required; Westport serves as the Corporate Office location.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assume full accountability, including General Manager duties, for each assigned hotel property.

Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.

Conduct daily and weekly assessments of hotel operations at designated locations.

Contribute to the formulation of marketing strategies, property enhancement plans, and operational budgets for assigned hotels.

  • Review financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Engage in the Revenue Management processes for the assigned hotel.
  • Support the sales team to ensure the achievement of objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the sales bonus plan.
  • Participate in company-wide sales initiatives; assist in the development and execution of the sales strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to human resources policies and procedures.
  • Represent the organization within the business community.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of the management company.
  • Support new General Managers through training and onboarding across the Lafrance Hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel and relocate to various properties as assigned.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the hotel industry.
  • Strong business acumen to contribute to the overall development of the company.
  • Effective managerial and team-building capabilities to lead staff successfully.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with vendors, employees, and stakeholders.
