Role Summary
As the Head of Institutional Funding, you will leverage your extensive experience and enthusiasm to nurture and manage relationships with foundations, corporations, and government entities. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Development to act as a primary liaison for institutional partners, driving revenue growth and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation & Strategy (60%)
Formulate and implement institutional funding strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee the creation of partnership proposals and manage the cultivation and stewardship processes for all funding sources. - Team Leadership & Management (20%)
Lead a small team, fostering a collaborative environment and establishing efficient systems to enhance donor engagement and retention. - Business Development & Insight (20%)
Conduct tailored communications to support partner engagement, stay informed on industry trends, and represent the organization at relevant events.
Candidate Profile
- 7-10 years of experience in securing significant funding and managing substantial portfolios.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a knack for storytelling.
- Data-driven approach to project management and performance tracking.
