Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and key control.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective room merchandising and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including guest feedback and complaints.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in guest service, front desk operations, and hotel software systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on front desk operations and guest service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
