Position Summary:
We are in search of a motivated and personable sales representative to promote and sell a variety of machinery including tractors, skid steers, excavators, and zero-turn mowers, as well as manage trade-ins and both new and pre-owned equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the face of the company in selling our product lines to potential customers.
2. Stay informed about the features and advantages of all equipment offered, along with competitive products.
3. Conduct demonstrations of new equipment in the field.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
5. Participate in training sessions and meetings to keep up-to-date with new products and sales initiatives.
6. Work independently to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, particularly in the construction equipment sector, is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, including Parts, Service, and Sales.
- A proven sales track record is essential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and adhere to company driving policies.
- Completion of a motor vehicle record check and pre-employment drug screening is required.
- Professional appearance is expected.
- Proficient computer skills are necessary; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
Work Environment:
This role involves both inside and outside sales responsibilities, with access to a company vehicle and tools necessary for success in both settings.
