About the Role

PagerDuty is seeking a highly skilled Majors Acquisition Account Executive to join our new customer acquisition team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new logo accounts in the Enterprise space, focusing on strategic planning, team selling, and proof of value engagements with prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Value Selling: Highlight the unique PagerDuty value and benefits, emphasizing the impact and solutions that address customer-specific needs and challenges.
  • Understanding Stakeholder Needs: Effectively communicate technical wins and strategic business outcomes to stakeholders, aligning use cases with the appropriate service offering or product.
  • Sales Effectiveness: Establish genuine connections with customers, negotiate positive business outcomes, and tailor presentations to suit the audience's level and interests.
  • Sales Execution: Ensure accurate work and information, prepare for meetings and presentations, and follow up with others to fulfill agreements and commitments.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of field sales experience, preferably in software sales or SaaS sales.
  • 3-5 years of new logo closing experience in a direct selling capacity.
  • Closed strategic new logo accounts in the Enterprise space (accounts with over $1 billion in revenue).
  • Sold in a multi-product selling environment before.
