Role Summary:

We are seeking a Field Tech Associate with a focus on tablet support to provide on-site assistance at client locations. This role involves:

  • Conducting troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and basic repairs on client assets.
  • Identifying potential issues that may negatively affect the end-user experience and taking appropriate action.
  • Aiming to meet all client service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the policies and procedures relevant to the work area.
  • Exercising discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters while primarily focusing on routine tasks.
  • Making policy recommendations to management and serving as a resource for less experienced team members.
  • Providing basic troubleshooting and repair services for desktops, notebooks, and printers.
  • Responding to after-hours calls as directed by leadership.

Work Schedule and Location: Standard working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend requests. Flexibility to adapt to client needs is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT technical support, specifically with desktops, notebooks, printers, and tablets.
  • Ability to physically manage general office tasks, including lifting and moving technology hardware (up to 50 lbs).

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in service delivery, including IMAC, Break Fix, and Desk Side Support, in accordance with managed client policies.
  • Strong expertise in tablet and phone support.
  • A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Capability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Certification in various hardware platforms may be required for servicing hardware issues.
