On-Board Companies is seeking a dedicated full-time Operator I.

POSITION TITLE:
Operator I

LOCATION:
Manufacturing Facility

SHIFT:
Day Shift: 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday

COMPENSATION:
$16.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY: The Operator I plays a crucial role in the production and assembly of products according to the established production schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Master all existing and new packaging machinery and processes for bottling, labeling, and packaging products.
2. Adhere to guidelines set forth in product and process documentation.
3. Maintain production machinery and ensure the work area is organized, safe, and clean.
4. Exhibit expertise in change-over and operation of all labeling and packaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary.
5. Support activities in clean room environments as required.
6. Collaborate with various teams to meet production timelines.
7. Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
8. Assist in training new hires and temporary staff on production processes and equipment usage.
9. Foster a collaborative team environment.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.

COLLABORATIONS: Daily interactions with Molecular Management, Packaging Lead, Supervisors, Specialists, and Molecular Biochemists to coordinate work schedules and activities. Collaborate with Supply Chain regarding materials issuance and returns for packaging tasks. May provide guidance to Packaging Specialists as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The role is situated within a manufacturing setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Extended hours may be necessary to meet production demands. Candidates must be able to manipulate packaging materials, apply labels accurately, operate laboratory machinery, and visually monitor products for quality standards. Quick maneuverability within the laboratory environment and the ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs are essential. Responsibilities may evolve as other tasks are assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Experience in clean room settings is preferred. Familiarity with current GMP and ISO quality regulations is advantageous, as is comfort in a structured, documented environment. Basic knowledge of laboratory devices and equipment, along with some mechanical aptitude, is necessary. Proficiency in mathematical computations for batch records is required. Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities, flexibility, attention to detail, and positive interpersonal skills are essential. Competence in using a computer and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel are required.
