We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Accurus Aerospace Corporation. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machines to perform various machining functions, ensuring high-quality production and meeting departmental and company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate automated CNC Vertical and horizontal machines, accurately locating and identifying the X, Y, Z axis.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily point checks on assigned machines, report concerns to supervisors, and initiate maintenance requests as needed.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Meet departmental and company goals, reducing setup time, scrap control, and improving time motion.
  • Technical Skills: Accurately interpret product blueprints, drawings, sketches, and other work instructions, using precision measuring instruments and equipment.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Remove and replace dull cutting tools, adjust machine feed and speed, and notify supervisors as needed.
  • Material Handling: Lift workpieces, use hoists or cranes, and enter control instructions into machine control units.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate verbally and follow verbal and written instructions, assist in training new operators, and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of six (6) months experience in a manufacturing role utilizing CNC machines or similar automated equipment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Experience reading and interpreting shop blueprints, sketches, and other technical information, basic math skills, and experience using precision measuring equipment.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in a manufacturing shop environment with varying working conditions, including excessive noise, dust, smoke, mist, fumes, and hazardous equipment. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
