Inventory Planning Role at Full Compass Systems
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join our team at Full Compass Systems, a family-owned business with a strong reputation for building relationships with employees and customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory data and forecast demand to inform inventory management decisions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to enhance inventory efficiency.
- Develop and maintain inventory forecasts using historical data and market trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability across all channels.
- Analyze inventory turnover rates and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to align inventory with promotional activities and new product launches.
- Implement inventory management best practices and streamline processes.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies and issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- ~3+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain processes.
- Experience with Pro Audio/Video/Lighting/Musical instruments.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and forecasting methods.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
- Ability to research, analyze, and make recommendations on administrative, management, and procedural practices and other complex business problems.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple projects.
Work Environment:
