Position Overview
AECOM is currently seeking a Water Quality Compliance Specialist to deliver essential water quality compliance services to Department of Defense (DOD) clients.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and evaluating Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
  • Conducting research, reviews, and analyses of water quality policies and regulations.
  • Assisting with regulatory compliance tasks related to stormwater management.
  • Assessing compliance methodologies for storage tanks at facilities and providing innovative solutions to mitigate non-compliance risks.
  • Engaging in various environmental projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline.
- 4 years of experience focused on water quality compliance.
- Proven knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations implementing the Clean Water Act.
- A valid U.S. Driver's license is mandatory for this position.
- Willingness to travel nationwide (50% of the time).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong writing, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Basic familiarity with ArcGIS and AutoCAD software.
- Understanding of DOD management practices concerning environmental compliance.
