Job Description

As a Director of Engineering, you will lead and manage the Product Engineering and Drafting Departments. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development of new and existing product designs, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of new and existing product designs, ensuring they meet the required quality standards.
  • Direct department activities to support other departments, design new products, modify existing designs, and manage product design improvement through revision tracking and traceability.
  • Communicate project requirements and provide guidance on design modifications to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Experience with building materials, curtain walls, storefronts, windows, composites, or sandwich panels is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, scheduling, and decision-making abilities.
