TCL Marketing is a fully remote advertising agency seeking a detail-oriented Digital Content Specialist to contribute to our growing operations team.

This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work. You'll be part of a collaborative team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. A strong understanding of digital advertising, landing pages, and online marketing strategies is essential as you'll primarily focus on proofreading materials for our Digital Team.

We are looking for an experienced individual who can quickly learn our internal processes, contribute to process improvements, and consistently deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations. Due to the remote nature of our work, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with meticulous attention to detail, are crucial.

Digital Content Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Review documents for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and stylistic inconsistencies.
  • Ensure accuracy in imagery and art design within documents.
  • Fact-check information as needed.
  • Compare documents and websites to original templates for accuracy.
  • Adhere to AP style guidelines for writing and editing.
  • Follow brand guidelines provided by clients when applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with the art department on new projects and process development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
  • High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an advertising agency or marketing firm is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English grammar and punctuation with a focus on AP style.
  • Excellent copyediting and proofreading skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, commitment to producing high-quality work, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing tasks while anticipating future needs.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and under direction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
