Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Residence Westminster. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Register guests and process check-ins and check-outs in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide personalized guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage and maintain accurate records of guest stays, including room assignments, check-in and check-out times, and any special requests or preferences
- Process payments and handle guest billing and accounting tasks
- Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest service and efficient operations
- Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services, and communicate this information to guests as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special events and projects, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
