Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join a private equity-backed company as a Senior Manager, Accounting. The role is a hybrid position that combines financial management, leadership, and technical skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or related industry, preferably with Big 4 experience and a CPA certification. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, revenue, expense management, and reporting.

The successful candidate will lead the monthly close process, manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. They will also prepare timely and accurate financial reports, develop and maintain financial policies, and collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, revenue, expense management, and reporting.
  • Lead the monthly close process and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, including invoicing, accounts payable, collections, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial stability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Corporate / In-House experience preferably in a Manufacturing or related industry.
  • Big 4 experience preferred.
  • CPA certification.
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
