Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Career Support Specialist to join our team in the Career Center. This role will assist the Career Center Coordinator with daily operations and customer service duties, helping current students navigate the center's resources and services.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students in identifying resources and navigating the Career Center
  • Support the Career Center Coordinator with daily operations and customer service duties
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with students, colleagues, and staff representing diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborate as part of a team to achieve student success


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills
  • A strong commitment to creating a culturally responsive and inclusive learning environment
  • The ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds
  • Flexibility to meet department needs, including working Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am-5pm
  • A pay rate of $18.00 per hour

About the Position
