At Westlake Chemical Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide product information and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 years customer service experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • SAP or other main line ERP experience.
  • Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Strong team player who can maintain a positive attitude and adapt to change.

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
