Your Contribution

This position involves:

  • Designing and planning electrical power systems for diverse projects, including but not limited to: healthcare facilities, light rail systems, laboratories, high-rise offices, educational institutions, and other commercial and institutional developments.
  • Specifying power and control systems, creating system layouts, performing load calculations, and selecting equipment, as well as calculating lighting systems and their associated controls for assigned projects.
  • Leading engineering project teams in prioritizing tasks to meet various deadlines while managing project budgets.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, engaging with code officials and contractors, and working alongside architects and other clients.
  • Supporting project teams in their tasks and participating in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
  • Engaging in direct communication with clients on MEP-related topics.
Qualifications

Minimum:
  • Over 10 years of experience as an MEP Electrical Engineer with a focus on project design.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • A current Professional Engineering (PE) license is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel is required.
  • Familiarity with California Energy Code Title 24 and Electric Code (NEC, CEC, etc.)
Preferred:
  • Experience with REVIT is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of maintaining successful client relationships.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities with the capacity to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Aptitude for mentoring and training junior engineers, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback to ensure quality control.
  • Significant experience in sustainable design is highly desirable.
  • LEED AP BD+C accreditation is a strong plus.
  • WELL accreditation is beneficial.
  • Project Management experience is an advantage.
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000

This salary range represents the lower and upper limits of the proposed compensation for this role. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and specific responsibilities.
