Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail stores. This is a full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a leading paint and coatings company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale and retail customers, answering their questions and recommending products and services.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
  • Build trust relationships with customers and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, and pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, and stock shelves and set up displays.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, and assist in making deliveries as needed.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
