Customer Service Specialist Job Description
At The Sherwin-Williams Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering customer inquiries, and recommending products to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting the right products and services to meet their needs, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized service.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Knowledge of paint and coatings products and services.
