Job Title: Loan Officer Assistant - Bilingual

Job Summary:

The Loan Officer Assistant - Bilingual provides critical support to our mortgage loan officers in their daily duties, ensuring a positive customer experience and facilitating timely loan closings. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and overnighting documents.
  • Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers.
  • Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers.
  • Review documents and entire loan files, highlighting deficiencies and notifying mortgage loan officers and/or loan processors.
  • Clarify and correct information, obtaining additional information as needed via phone, email, or other means.
  • Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, as needed.
  • Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing, as needed.
  • Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, as well as 203K and reverse mortgage products.
  • Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and retrieve proof of receipt.
  • Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or educational equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • A minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Previous sales support experience, preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Salesforce working experience.
