Position Overview:
As a key member of the nursing leadership team, the Nursing Unit Supervisor will oversee the operations of a designated nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services. This role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.

- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure optimal staffing levels for safe and effective patient care.
- Engage with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and assess strategies aimed at achieving patient objectives and reducing readmission rates.
- Mentor and guide nursing staff, providing education and serving as a resource for quality service delivery.
- Supervise medication management processes to guarantee compliance with established policies and adequate supply levels.
- Participate in direct patient care alongside nursing staff to maintain clinical competencies.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing with three years of nursing experience, or a Nursing Diploma with three years of nursing experience, or a BSN with two years of nursing experience.
- A minimum of one year in a leadership role within nursing is essential.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses is mandatory.
- BLS/CPR certification must be maintained.
