Position Overview

The Security and Solutions Design Program Governance team is looking for a visionary leader to take on the role of Senior Central Intake Lead. This position will be pivotal in executing the Business Information Security Office Central Intake Framework within the Secure by Design Evaluation (SBDE) program. As a key player, you will be the initial point of contact for requests for approval from Global Information Security (GIS), gathering vital information from various enterprise sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and refine the scope and criteria of SBDE program processes in response to evolving bank policies and security threats.
  • Utilize executive presence and relationship management skills to address escalations from stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate concerns, providing analytical insights and recommending solutions to senior leadership.
  • Leverage your application development and security expertise to navigate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and associated risks.
  • Continuously enhance the Central Intake Framework by integrating lessons learned from security incidents and industry best practices.
  • Document requests and observations related to Central Intake activities for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SSD tools and maintain relevant procedures and training materials.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes in the SBDE program on Central Intake processes and facilitate productive discussions among team leaders.
  • Design effective tracking and reporting mechanisms for the Central Intake team to provide operational insights to senior leadership.
  • Onboard and train new team members, emphasizing the execution of complex processes.
  • Interpret technical diagrams with a focus on information security aspects.
  • Monitor ongoing SBDE cases, ensuring a positive experience for our stakeholders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Over 10 years of experience in Information Security or Technology within a highly-regulated sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk identification.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for the success of security programs.
  • Proven ability to engage with both technical and non-technical leaders on complex issues.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate beyond traditional methods.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and policies to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira Service Manager and various GIS reporting platforms.
  • Ability to influence and lead others towards the adoption of best practices.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect concepts and foresee potential challenges.
