Job Responsibilities
As a key player at Denver International Airport, you will oversee critical security operations in one of the busiest airports in the United States. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing compliance and enforcement related to construction and regulatory audits, ensuring adherence to the Airport Security Program.
- Supervising Program Security Managers and their teams, ensuring effective regulatory compliance and oversight.
- Mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Acting as a technical expert in access control systems and overseeing special projects related to security enhancements.
- Developing and delivering training programs and procedural documentation to support security operations.
- Creating communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about security changes and requirements.
- Participating in policy creation and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Compliance & Enforcement unit.
- Serving as an alternate Airport Security Coordinator, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations and effective decision-making.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration.
- Experience in managing and mentoring employees in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with aviation security regulations.
- Relevant certifications in airport security.
- Experience implementing federal security directives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Three years of supervisory experience in an aviation environment.
- Valid Driver's License and relevant certifications.
