Position Title: Senior Integration Technician - Full-Time

Department: Human Resources

Location: Denver, CO

Job Overview:

This role involves field service responsibilities where the technician will execute installations, modifications, repairs, and training at various client sites throughout Colorado. Some travel outside the state may be necessary.

The technician is expected to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently, ensuring all tasks meet the quality standards set by Advantage Security Inc.


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Occasional weekend and late-night duties may be required
Participation in an on-call rotation is expected

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.

Qualifications:
Preferred experience of 1 year in Security Access Control and Video Technology, though not mandatory.
Technical proficiency is essential.
Familiarity with networking and IP systems is highly valued.

Basic Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old
High school diploma or GED is required
Must be a U.S. citizen or possess a valid work permit
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check, including THC
Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required
Valid Driver's License is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair surveillance systems, cloud storage, access control systems, intercoms, intrusion alarms, and related software and components.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the proper techniques for installing, maintaining, and testing various commercial security systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions in cameras and recording equipment using work aids and specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports on all tasks performed for each account.
- Serve as the night call manager on a rotating basis, with the schedule varying based on the number of technicians in the rotation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to determine necessary repairs and operational sequences.
- Instruct clients on the proper use of their systems.
- Adhere to Advantage Security Inc.'s installation and service standards.

Skills and Abilities:
- Background knowledge in basic electronics.
- Understanding of computer networking, routing, switching, and LAN topologies.
- Proficient in electronic troubleshooting using digital and analog Volt/Ohm/Amp meters.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
- Ability to effectively hear and see (good depth perception, color vision, and field of vision).
