YOUR ROLE
  • Collaborating with the Store Manager to maintain consistent operational standards.
  • Serving as a role model to foster a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Championing the Dr. Martens brand through constructive coaching and feedback, helping the team achieve and surpass sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assisting in the onboarding and training of new employees on their responsibilities and product knowledge.
  • Supporting the Store Manager with HR functions, including onboarding documentation, performance evaluations, and recruitment efforts.
  • Managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, register balancing, and bank deposits.
  • Assisting the Store Manager with operational tasks such as scheduling, inventory oversight, shipments, and physical inventory counts.
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences by leading the sales floor and promoting teamwork in selling.
  • Coordinating with the retail stock team to receive, organize, and replenish in-store inventory efficiently and accurately.
  • Contributing to merchandising efforts to align with Brand Marketing guidelines and enhance product visibility.
YOUR CORE ATTRIBUTES

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience, including performance assessment and employee development.
  • Retail experience is essential; footwear experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse customer base, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, retail systems, web-based applications, and computerized inventory management systems; experience with MPOS is advantageous.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and manage shoe boxes while navigating ladders and stairs.
  • Punctuality in adhering to scheduled shifts.
  • No international or domestic travel required.

COMPENSATION
