Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge and experience to perform sophisticated installations, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of technical machine issues, encompassing electrical (high & low voltage), mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine control systems.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain a high level of integrity and customer service while interacting with manufacturing customers. Optimally communicate technical information and solutions to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Remote Dispatch: Work remotely from your primary residence to receive dispatches and plan daily service assignments. Maintain a well-organized schedule to ensure timely responses to customer requests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment issues and conduct detailed inspections to identify potential problems before they occur.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all service activities, including equipment diagnostics, repairs performed, parts used, and other relevant information. Maintain detailed service records.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce all safety guidelines and protocols, both at the customer's site and within your primary residence, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC technology and attend training sessions as the need arises to improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our internal technical support team to resolve sophisticated technical issues and provide feedback for product improvements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician, working on CNC equipment and CNC equipment options and accessories.
  • Strong proficiency in fixing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a remote work schedule effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations daily.
