**Job Title:** Patient Advocate

OakBend Medical Center is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Advocate to join our team.

This role involves working directly with patients and their families to provide emotional support, educate them on available resources, and advocate for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to patients and their families during challenging times
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations to access resources and services
  • Facilitate communication between patients, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure informed decision-making
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; relevant experience in lieu of education considered
  • 3 years of previous customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
