Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing student behavior intervention plans, maintaining and reporting student records, and communicating with classroom teachers regarding student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement student behavior intervention plans in accordance with established protocols
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including progress reports and incident reports
  • Communicate effectively with classroom teachers, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and behavior
  • Perform physical management in emergency situations, adhering to established safety protocols
  • Discharge duties in accordance with the RBT Ethics Code and organizational policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Director of Special Services
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of required training and certification in behavior intervention and physical management
  • Previous experience working with special education students, particularly those with social-emotional-behavioral needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced educational environment, interacting with students, teachers, and other staff members. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
