Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Security Operations Center Manager to join our team at Securitas Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 24/7 support to our Global Security Operations Center personnel and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Global Security Operations Center program, ensuring seamless execution and adaptation to changing business needs.
  • Intelligence Gathering and Analysis: Utilize expertise in intelligence gathering and analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks to the company, its employees, and assets worldwide.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Global Security Operations Center staff, focusing on professional advancement and skill enhancement.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and execute emergency response plans, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders during critical situations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Create concise and factual reports for distribution to senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders, highlighting key security insights and recommendations.
  • Travel Security: Monitor associate travel and ensure preparedness for events of concern or elevated risk, maintaining a high level of situational awareness.
  • Equipment and Software Management: Ensure the serviceability and accountability of all Global Security Operations Center equipment and software, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.
  • Access Control and Electronic Security: Develop and maintain access control systems, CCTV operations, and electronic security systems, ensuring optimal security posture.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, developing the skills and expertise of Global Security Operations Center staff.
  • Incident Management: Identify, assess, and respond to security incidents, escalating critical situations to senior leadership as necessary.
  • Risk Awareness: Maintain a high level of awareness regarding domestic and international risks, conducting critical research on global events impacting the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years in a corporate security environment, with a focus on global security operations and risk management.
  • GSOC Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a Global Security Operations Center, with expertise in intelligence assessments, brand protection, and travel security.
  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a GSOC or security operations environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during crisis periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training and Development: Ability to conduct training in all areas associated with a Global Security Operations Center and crisis management.
  • Intelligence and Security Experience: Intelligence, corporate, military, law enforcement, and security experience, with a focus on global security operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard office computer and web applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized security software.
  • Results-Oriented: Ability to operate under stress in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity in all aspects of the role.
