About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. As a key member of our Brea region, you will be responsible for driving deposit growth and developing strategic relationships with new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve targeted goals for deposit growth and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to implement sales initiatives and ensure relationship profitability.
  • Utilize excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage sales processes, including proposal development and implementation.
  • Travel to attend conferences, meet with prospective clients, and participate in networking events.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of banking sales experience, with a focus on business banking and deposit acquisition.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing complex relationships, with a strong ability to prospect new business.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of contact tracking systems.
