Key Responsibilities- Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission CNC equipment and accessory CNC equipment at customer facilities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance, including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex CNC equipment issues, using technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Operator Training: Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation and maintenance of CNC equipment, ensuring they are equipped to use the equipment effectively.
- Communication and Customer Service: Serve as a direct communication link between customers and our Service Group, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience: A two-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation, or one year of experience in a related field, such as industrial equipment repair or machine tool manufacture.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical drawings, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, PLC ladder diagrams, and testing equipment, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
As a CNC Field Service Technician, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to various hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, and heavy equipment. You will also work in a general office and training environment at our company headquarters.
